Since 1922 Buckeye Fabric Finishing Company has provided customers throughout
North America with quality coated fabrics and excellent customer service.
Originally named the Goodin-Timmons Company,
the company began operations in Coshocton, Ohio treating gauntlet cuffs for gloves used in East Coast steel mills. Later the company
introduced flame retardant coatings for commercial customers, but for nearly four decades, Buckeye Fabric was a leading supplier
to the American military. From World War II through the Vietnam War, Buckeye Fabric’s wax-coated cotton products kept the United
States military and their all-important equipment dry.
Today Buckeye Fabric supplies both military and commercial markets
wax coated cottons, and a variety of resin and custom coatings for cotton/polyester and cotton/nylon blends. Many product lines
serve end-use customers in agricultural, construction, recreation and transportation industries. Buckeye Fabric’s coatings are also
highly sought after by retailers searching for vintage display and decorative applications.
Buckeye Fabric has remained a
family-controlled company since 1947 when James Lee, a company bookkeeper, purchased it. Today grandson Kevin Lee, along with his
highly knowledgeable staff, is proud to provide the same quality service that has led to the company’s longevity. Kevin invites you
to inquire about how Buckeye Fabric might serve your coating needs.
